A chance to see great French movies and socialise with local Parisians and a cosmopolitan crowd. So whether you are French, one of the city’s many expats, an international student or just a tourist and love cinema, meeting new people and making new friends, a cultural and fun night out is never that far away.
Lost in Frenchlation screens movies at some delightful and iconic cinemas such as cinema Studio 28, Paris’ oldest room located in the heart of Montmartre, and the stunning boat-themed cinema Club de l’Étoile located just off the iconic Champs-Elysées and only 2 blocks from the Arc de Triomphe!
November’s films include Laurent Cantet’s gripping social and political thriller L’Atelier at Studio 28. Cantet who won the Palme d’Or in 2008 for The Class once again provides a film with real depth and substance that explores debates and issues facing France today but which are which are also relevant in today’s modern world.
Later this month and laughs will be on the agenda with a comedy double bill at the Clube de L’Etoile. First up there be a comedy show in English before a screening of Le Sens de la Fete, a charming and crazy French film where a grand wedding takes places at an old chateau.
All the films are in French with English subtitles.
